CAN NIDO

A 300-year-old courthouse sympathetically reconceptualised as a five-bedroom villa. Can Nido ticks the boxes for Ibicencan style, contemporary comforts and a rambling 15.000 m2 estate that seems to cushion you from the stresses of the modern world beyond.

OVERVIEW

Around here, northern Ibiza’s thriving natural surrounds set the scene for morning strolls. Spend afternoons working up a sweat on the private tennis court or playing a few rounds on the ping-pong table. Sprawl out with a book in a shaded chill-out area or explore the locale by bike. Come evening, fire up the poolside barbecue and gaze across San José to the sea.

Inside, knotted Sabina beams, whitewashed stone walls and a time-honoured fireplace add warmth to the welcome of this historic finca. Luxury linens and work-of-art furnishings: a touch of contemporary flair. This is rustic luxury. A place for total relaxation.

Drifting off is easy in the cool, calm master suite, with a king-size bed and en suite with twin vanities and a walk-in rainfall shower. A second bedroom is in the main house, while three additional bedrooms are accessed via the tranquil courtyard – each with en-suite bathrooms and a fantastic sense of privacy. Sleep easy. This is a place to really unwind.

CAN NIDO

LOCATION

Ibiza Airport (6 mins)
Ibiza Town (14 mins)
San Jose ( 5 mins)

Can Nido is well situated for all that the island’s southern tip has to offer. Within a 10-minute drive you can be rubbing shoulders at the beach clubs of Blue Marlin, Tropicana and laid-back Yemanja. El Chirniguito and Experimental Beach Club are worth travelling a little longer than that. Some great sea-to-fork restaurants wash up on this part of the coast. Fuel up with the catch of the day at Es Torrent or Sa Caleta before driving on to the wide, sandy crescent of La Salinas. The perfect spot for exploring beneath the waves and letting your hair down to Balearic beats.
