Collaborations and Partnerships

Domus Nova Ibiza are committed to promoting and supporting the conservation of Ibiza and promoting local businesses and brands with a number of key initiatives and events, to help raise awareness and take a positive action.

Ibiza Preservation and Plastic Free Ibiza

For over 10 years IbizaPreservation has identified, researched and supported local initiatives that have made a positive impact on Ibiza and Formentera’s environment and community. They believe the islands need to evolve so the tourism-based economy can co-exist harmoniously with our unique cultural and environmental heritage. The foundation’s primary objective of funding nature and biodiversity preservation projects is an initiative, which Domus Nova fully supports either through hard donations or curating cultural events and initiatives.

White Island Classic Regatta 2018

Following the success of its opening year in 2017, White Island Classics (W.I.C.) returned for 2018 bigger and better, offering three days of classic sailing as well as a Classic Car Day, Regatta Village and Closing Party, open to the public. The W.I.C. took place in Marina Botafoch and Domus Nova Ibiza sponsored the main tent and cafe garden providing drinks and music, with racing action shown on screen.

Mark Mahoney Collaboration with Grupo Mumbo and Ibiza Preservation 2019

As part of our continuing support for local businesses and organisations in Ibiza, Domus Nova Ibiza partnered with Grupo Mambo and our friends from Ibiza Preservation to introduce the islanders to the world-renowned tattoo artist and founding-father of black and grey tattoos, Mr Mark Mahoney. The week kicked off with glorious dinner at Casa Maca, Grupo Mambo’s latest addition to the island, and was attended by the great and the good of Ibiza, where Ibiza Preservation board member Frances Llopis stressed the value of community support and collaboration to ensure the survival of Ibiza’s delicate eco-structure for future generations. Along with Ibizan event producers, Velvet Circus, we recreated the legendary Shamrock Social Club within the bohemian Hostel La Torre where Mark tattooed friends old and new, including Mr Javier Anadon himself and was rounded off with an intimate gathering joining Mark in conversation with Leah Wood and friends.

OJO de Ibiza 2019

A relative newcomer to the island, Dieter Mieir’s Ojo de Ibiza is a one of Ibiza’s finest exports. Situated in the far north of the island, 400m above sea level and with sweeping views of the Mediterranean, the Ojo vineyard produces a clean, pure red wine, free of chemicals and additives. Domus Nova Ibiza helps promote the wine on the island, organises tours of the vineyard and bodega, helps with harvesting the grapes and holds small, intimate dinners and tastings amongst the beautiful vines. With an extremely limited production of only 4000 bottles per vintage- of which 2000 go directly to Switzerland-  Ojo de Ibiza can only be found in Ibiza’s premier restaurants and our favourite wine store in Santa Gertrudis, Somm.

World Clean Up Day September 2020

Domus Nova Ibiza are proud supporters and sponsors of World Clean Up Day in Ibiza, a global, civic initiative aimed at tackling the solid waste problem we have around the world. From beach cleaning to scouring the seas collecting waste plastic, World Clean Up Day is not only worthwhile but essential. This year we joined the folks from IbizaPreservation and the charter schooner SAGA and collected copious amounts of bags of discarded plastic. Only by working together can we make a real change and Domus Nova Ibiza are fully behind this initiative, not just for one day, but all year round!

Together for Healthcare Heroes 2020

All of us have been affected one way or another by this year’s pandemic, but throughout all the uncertainty, our fantastic healthcare workers have been there for us, going above and beyond the call of duty. They deserve a break. Domus Nova are excited and honoured to be on the advisory board of Together for Healthcare Heroes, an Ibiza born initiative that aims to provide flights and holidays for up to 10,000 healthcare workers from around Europe and say a big ‘thank you’ to those that have sacrificed so much to look after us and our families. Partnering with homeowners worldwide and hospitality groups, we have reached out to  our extensive database of clients and friends and asked them to provide one week’s accommodation for free to healthcare workers and their families. We are so grateful for their generosity to date, but we still have a lot to do. If you would like to help in any way, whether it be loaning your property for a week in London, Ibiza and beyond or donating much needed funds , please contact us at hello@domusnova.com and visit www.togetherforhealthcareheroes.com to find out more.
